Alden is the Therapy Coordinator for Verity Addiction, a psychiatric practice in Richmond that specializes in addiction medicine. She is a Resident in Counseling working towards her LPC under the supervision of Barbara Mardigian.
Alden’s passion for working with individuals and families affected by Substance Use Disorders stems from her family and friends who strive for recovery from the disease and the insight into the recovery community she gained while working at The McShin Foundation.
As a therapist at Verity Addiction, Alden works with clients with a wide variety of concerns and goals, including but not limited to Substance Use Disorders. Alden grew up in Richmond, where she attended Collegiate School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Miami University of Ohio and a Master's degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from VCU.
Through her career as a mental health professional, she hopes to work with individuals and families to help them achieve peace of mind and stability in their lives.
