Amy Mead is a Business Intelligence Architect at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Amy is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where she received a BS in Computer Information Systems.
After graduation, Amy began her career at Federal Reserve Information Technology (FRIT) as a web designer and SQL developer, where she began her specialization in database development. She went on to join the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond Audit department where she was able to showcase her analytical skills. Amy leveraged these skills to transition into her current role and became an inaugural member of the data analytics group within the audit department known as Audit Solutions and Innovation (ASI). As a Business Intelligence Architect, Amy specializes in Tableau data visualizations & analytics, database development, and coding. In addition, Amy is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
Amy lives in Midlothian, VA, with her husband, Jeff Mead, and their 2 beautiful children. She enjoys serving her community, spending time with her family and friends, discovering new wineries and interior decorating.
