Mrs. April Morris is originally from Danville, VA. She left Danville and moved to Richmond, VA in 1999 to attend school at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). She received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and in nursing from VCU. She went on to complete a Master’s degree in nursing at VCU and became a board-certified family nurse practitioner in 2006. Since completing her training, she has cared for patients with various liver diseases at VCU Medical Center, Bon Secours’ Liver Institute of Virginia and currently at Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond, VA. In this role, she has also been a sub-investigator in several clinical trials developing new therapies for various liver conditions.
Mrs. Morris is a member of several professional organizations. She is also co-chair of the social committee in her neighborhood community in Midlothian, VA
Mrs. Morris married her husband, Eric Morris, a realtor, in July 2015. She has 3 beautiful stepchildren, Lilianna, Eric Jr., and Seraphina Morris. She enjoys serving her community, spending time with her family and friends and traveling.
